The Norwegian Forest Cats listed here may be either cats that are up for adoption such as retired breeders or cats whose owners no longer can keep them or cats rescued from a shelter.

All adult cats will be placed with provisions (including any fees) set by contact person or current owner and the agreement between the parties involved are not the responsibility of NFCFA.

Breeders:  If you have retired cats that you would like to place in loving homes please forward the information to: breedrescue@forestcats.net

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you are interested in adopting through NFCBRAP, you MUST fill out our Adoption Application (click here).

This will also put you on our mailing list and you will be notified as cats become available in the future.

We need new homes!

#1 This is Tillie, a spayed calico/tabby born June 3, 2003.  She is a quiet sweet cat who likes to sit and be beautiful on my husband's desk when he is working on the computer.  She is not a lap cat and is not the cuddly type, but she is beautiful and dainty.  She gets along well with other cats.

#2 This is Bette who is a brown tabby spayed female, born on September 22, 2004.  Doesn't she have a sweet face?  She likes to hang around with one of our male cats so she might be a good companion for another cat.  She needs brushing to keep her from matting.  Her job in our cat household is to tell me when it's time for everybody to have a snack.  She jumps on the container and meows until she gets what she wants! She also likes to drink water from the spigot.

#3 This is B.B. King - a black neutered male born on May 25, 2004.  He is a quiet kind of shy beautiful boy.  He loves to sleep with you.  He likes being brushed and petted.  He gets along well with other cats.

#4  This is Colleen - a red and white tabby spayed female born  September 22, 2004.  Colleen is a sweet cat who likes to be petted and is not particularly a lap cat but she might be for you.  She especially loves fresh red, orange, or yellow bell peppers chopped up for her.  She gets along well with others.

If you or someone you know can help these place these wegies.
